Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a friendly and organized Automotive Rental & Customer Service Coordinator to join our service department in Glendale, MO. You will help customers stay on the road by coordinating rental and loaner vehicles while supporting service advisors and management.

Experience in automotive dealerships or customer service is helpful, with a requirement for a valid drivers license and the ability to drive a manual transmission. Saturday availability is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Customers: provide friendly, professional service with rental vehicle reservations, agreements, check-outs, and returns.
• Coordinate Rental Vehicles: monitor availability, manage check-in/check-out, and maintain accurate rental records.
• Support Our Service Department: coordinate transportation needs for customers whose vehicles are being repaired.
• Handle Documentation: verify drivers licenses and insurance, complete rental agreements, and maintain electronic records.
• Assist With Billing: coordinate with insurance companies, verify payment arrangements, and follow up on outstanding rental payments.
• Maintain Fleet Readiness: inspect returned vehicles for mileage, fuel, damage, and prep for next customer.
• Stay Organized: track rental activity using Excel and keep records up to date.

Join Our Team!

Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Automotive Rental & Customer Service Coordinator to join our busy service department!

In this role, you'll help customers stay on the road while their vehicles are being serviced or repaired. You'll coordinate rental and service loaner vehicles, assist customers with paperwork, and help keep our rental fleet organized and ready to go.

If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and having a variety of responsibilities throughout your day, we'd love to meet you!

Automotive experience is a plus, but customer service experience from other industries is welcome!

What You'll Do

• Assist Customers: Provide friendly, professional service while helping customers with rental vehicle reservations, agreements, check-outs, and returns.
• Coordinate Rental Vehicles: Monitor vehicle availability, manage the check-in/check-out process, and maintain accurate rental records.
• Support Our Service Department: Work closely with Service Advisors and management to coordinate transportation needs for customers whose vehicles are being repaired.
• Handle Documentation: Verify driver's licenses and insurance coverage, complete rental agreements, and maintain accurate electronic records.
• Assist With Billing: Coordinate with insurance companies, verify payment arrangements, and follow up on outstanding rental payments.
• Maintain Fleet Readiness: Inspect returned vehicles for mileage, fuel, and damage, and wash and vacuum vehicles to prepare them for the next customer.
• Stay Organized: Track rental activity using Excel and keep customer records and rental documentation up to date.

What We're Looking For

• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Availability to work Saturdays.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment background screening and drug testing.

Experience in automotive dealerships, car rental companies, customer service, reception, or administrative support is helpful but not required.
