Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Automotive Refinish team to drive profitable sales growth and strengthen customer relationships across a defined territory in the St. Louis - NE Missouri region.

You will execute regional targets while supporting national goals and develop the territory through distributor partnerships and end-user engagement. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of sales experience in automotive refinishing or a related field, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years proven track record in growing sales with consultative selling.
Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Collision or Body Shop Business Experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Achieve annual sales plans for growth while managing costs, receivables, and expenses within targets.
Understand end-customer requirements and align with PPG strategy and regional challenges.
Sell paint systems and sundry items across the region through distribution.
Manage distributor relationships including sales and training.
Leverage knowledge of body shop and fleet operations to improve profitability and efficiency.
Target and develop relationships with key dealers, MSO, and collision centers.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Collaborate in a team to develop the market and maximize potential.
Travel up to 25% as required.
