Job summary

Magna International Limited's Cosma division in Alabama seeks a motivated Recruiting Intern to support high-volume production hiring. You will review applications, screen candidates, schedule interviews, coordinate pre-employment requirements, maintain records, and assist with onboarding and new-hire orientation.

The ideal candidate is pursuing or has recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, organized, professional, and eager to gain hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; pursuing or recent graduate.
• Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR within manufacturing.
• Experience with ATS or HR systems a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Post job openings on internal and external job boards.
• Screen resumes and applications for hourly positions.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and managers.
• Communicate with candidates about application status and next steps.
• Support sourcing through job boards and career fairs.
• Maintain candidate information in the ATS.
• Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill.
• Assist with onboarding prep and new-hire communication.
• Partner with hiring managers to ensure smooth process.
• Support employer branding initiatives and recruiting events.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations throughout hiring.
