Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Project Quality Manager to join an automotive manufacturing and quality engineering environment in Auburn Hills, MI. This onsite role supports the North America Cross Car Line teams, driving standardization of quality enablers across platform and module environments.

You will lead root-cause analyses with tools like Kepner-Tregoe and DOE, manage engineering changes with cross-functional teams, and deliver corrective actions to improve vehicle quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Experience with advanced problem-solving tools (Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, DOE).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to collect, synthesize, and communicate quality data clearly.
• Experience with computer systems and software for quality engineering/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute standardization of manufacturing quality enablers across the platform and modules environment.
• Perform root cause analysis of vehicle quality issues using advanced problem-solving tools and recommend permanent corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data from indicators, manage engineering changes with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely execution.
• Conduct product evaluation tests to validate robustness of changes before full implementation.
• Serve as the contact for engineering quality and product incidents, delivering third-party metrics and data-driven opportunities.
