Job summary

Slate Auto LLC is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Quality Engineer to drive new product and process development for a successful car launch in the USA. You will implement QA/QC processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead root-cause analyses to ensure the highest product quality across sub-assembly and general assembly.

The role requires 8+ years in automotive engineering/manufacturing quality, deep knowledge of QA/QC disciplines, and experience with IATF 16949, APQP and PPAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (e.g., industrial/mechanical/manufacturing) or related field.
• 8+ years of automotive engineering/manufacturing quality experience at an OEM/Tier 1.
• Strong knowledge of product/vehicle development and production with focus on manufacturing launch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust QA and QC processes for Sub-Assembly and General Assembly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements into manufacturing processes.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
