Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (industrial/mechanical/manufacturing or related).
• 10+ years of automotive engineering/manufacturing quality experience at OEM/Tier 1.
• Strong knowledge of product/vehicle development and manufacturing plant launches.
• Experience delivering new program launches on time with metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust QA/QC processes for sub-assembly and general assembly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements in manufacturing.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Perform audits/inspections of manufacturing processes for new car launches.
• Work with suppliers to set and monitor incoming material quality.
• Maintain quality documentation including control plans and QC procedures.
• Support FMEA development and risk assessment across programs.
• Define quality processes and standards with development and manufacturing teams.
• Assist in product test drives and QA approvals of functions and systems.
