Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Nashville, IL is seeking a Quality professional to drive program quality from design through launch. You will coordinate checks, interpret blueprints, and finalize customer submissions, including supplier inputs.

You’ll establish FMEA, control plans, and inspection instructions with production teams, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree and ASQ CQE/CQA is preferred, with experience in PPAP, AIAG Core Tools, and

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in a technical field preferred.
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
• Candidates with substantial manufacturing experience may be considered.
• Advanced SPC, DOE, inspection and testing; PPAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate checking and testing per customer blueprint for new programs.
• Interpret blueprint specifications and submit required documents.
• Establish FMEAs, control plans, and inspection instructions with production.
• Lead and participate in Six Sigma projects and cost-reduction ideas.
• Travel to customer facilities to support programs and address issues.
