Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Quality Function Manager for HW E/E to drive automotive E/E quality and design integrity from concept to launch. You will consolidate quality activities, review design options with engineering, and translate lessons learned into improved standards and defect prevention actions.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering with a strong E/E automotive background and hands-on experience in DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP/PPAP and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in E/E or related field.
• 8+ years engineering experience in automotive E/E.
• Strong knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP and PPAP.
• Ability to review hardware/software interfaces and supplier collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of warranty data and field feedback to identify HW E/E risk patterns.
• Verify design integrity and ensure standards compliance across hardware systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering to review design options for quality and customer impact.
• Ensure DFMEA, DVP&R, validation evidence, and Lessons Learned are robust.
• Release structured quality reports at project milestones with risk assessments and recovery plans.
• Drive root-cause analysis across hardware, software interaction, manufacturing, and service processes.
• Lead technical reviews with cross-functional teams.
