Job summary

Brose North America Inc. in Auburn Hills, Michigan is seeking a Project Engineer for the Door Modules and Window Regulators team. You will support development and execution of automotive engineering projects, coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
• 5–7 years related automotive engineering experience preferred.
• Strong ability to manage projects, schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of automotive engineering projects.
• Plan and implement engineering programs, activities and milestones per customer requirements.
• Prepare and deliver project milestones reports and adapt schedules as needed.
• Coordinate and deliver bid packages, including BOM creation and product sizing.
• Oversee project personnel across design, specs, and testing phases.
• Review designs for compliance with engineering principles, standards and customer requirements.
• Lead technical risk analysis (DFMEA) and implement technical changes.
• Manage Development Team Meeting processes for change control.
