Job summary

Wintegrity in Rochester Hills, MI, seeks two Senior Product Design Engineers to lead automotive door modules from concept through production launch. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with OEM/Tier 1 partners, and drive DFMEA and VA/VE initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 8–10+ years in automotive product design, strong CATIA V5 skills, and proven leadership in NPD, design validation, and manufacturing onboarding.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience as a Senior Product Design Engineer in automotive.
• Experience designing Door Modules and Door Systems for Tier 1 supplier or OEM.
• Advanced CATIA V5 proficiency for 3D modeling, assemblies and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of automotive Door Modules and Door System from concept to production.
• Develop innovative concepts aligned with customer specs and objectives.
• Perform feasibility studies using analytics and simulation tools.
• Create and release CATIA V5 models, assemblies, drawings and design documentation.
• Lead technical discussions with OEM and Tier 1 customers on performance and changes.
• Mentor engineers and support cross-functional teams.
