Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced Program Manager/Consultant to lead its Automotive Consulting team and drive complex programs aligned with strategic objectives. You will work with business, product, engineering, operations, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery that meets business goals.

The ideal candidate has a hands-on leadership style, strong program management, business analysis, and product ownership background, and can drive execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Project/Program Management, Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or related roles.
• 3-5+ years of experience managing complex IT programs with multi-project scope and resources.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across business and technology.
• Strong program planning, execution, governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute program strategies aligned with business objectives and client needs.
• Strong leadership with ability to drive teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver results.
• Ability to actively drive execution, remove blockers, and progress in ambiguous environments.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools; Jira experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define program goals, scope, deliverables, milestones, and success metrics.
• Lead planning and execution of multiple projects within the program.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, and roadmaps.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for timely delivery of outcomes.
• Drive execution and remove blockers beyond status updates.
• Monitor progress, timelines, resources, and budget adherence.
• Identify and resolve dependencies across projects and teams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and issues.
• Establish escalation mechanisms for critical risks and blockers.
• Develop mitigation and contingency plans as needed.
• Drive issue resolution across business, technical, product, and operations teams.
• Communicate risks, impacts, and actions to leadership and clients.
