Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive components organization, is seeking a skilled Project Manager. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional automotive product-development programs, coordinating customer and engineering activities, and driving programs from initial opportunity through production launch. The Project Manager will also support quoting, proposals, customer events, and new-business activities across multiple OEM accounts.

Job Duties

• Coordinate engineering, account management, commercial, and customer activities across multiple automotive programs
• Manage product-development schedules, deliverables, program gates, and key milestones
• Support programs through concept, prototype, validation, development, and production launch
• Participate in OEM customer meetings and program reviews
• Coordinate product quotations, proposals, technical discussions, and customer ride sessions
• Track customer requirements, timing expectations, quality deliverables, and launch readiness
• Support sales and business-development activities related to new automotive programs
• Manage multiple OEM programs simultaneously while maintaining alignment across internal and customer teams

Required

• 7+ years of project or program management experience, preferably within the automotive industry
• Demonstrated project or program management experience supporting automotive components, engineered products, or vehicle systems
• Experience managing automotive product-development programs from concept through production launch
• Knowledge of OEM product-development processes, program gates, timing requirements, quality processes, and deliverables
• Experience working directly with automotive OEM customers
• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering, commercial, and customer-facing activities
• Working knowledge of product quoting, proposals, sales activities, or business-development processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Experience supporting brake, suspension, chassis, or related vehicle systems
• Technical or engineering background with the ability to work effectively with product and development engineers
• Experience supporting multiple OEM customers or programs simultaneously
• Familiarity with major North American, European, or Asian automotive OEM development processes
• Experience with physical automotive components in addition to software or controls
• PMP certification
• Experience supporting customer vehicle evaluations, ride sessions, or similar product-development activities
