Job summary

Neapco in Belleville, MI, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its Manufacturing team. This role reports to the Director of Manufacturing and focuses on delivering on-time operator assignments, production plans, and process improvements in a high-volume plant.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of manufacturing experience (preferably automotive), strong leadership, and excellent communication. You will train teams, monitor equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in a manufacturing facility (automotive preferred).
• Ability to work independently, manage time, multitask, and problem solve.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Good technical and interpersonal skills for interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operator work assignments are fully completed on time.
• Implement production plans and assist with scheduling.
• Improve processes and/or functioning of equipment.
• Assist with experimental projects during model changes.
• Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production.
• Effectively communicate necessary information to team members.
• Eliminate waste through safety, quality, and production improvement initiatives.
• Monitor quality documentation at each operation and ensure checks are performed.
