Job summary

Ground Effects LLC seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee quality-focused manufacturing for vehicle-related products. You will schedule staffing, maintain safety and OSHA compliance, and ensure adherence to IATF16949 and ISO 14001 standards while guiding a production team on the shop floor.

You will monitor build schedules, tag WIP, manage FIFO, address issues, and support continuous improvement with strong communication and organizational skills. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent is required.
• One to three years of experience as a production lead or supervisor in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Automotive manufacturing background is a plus.
• Familiarity with IATF16949 ISO 14001 and OSHA requirements is preferred but training is available.
• Must be team oriented and have excellent communication, organizational, and strong computer skills.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to provide support on the production floor and be visible.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staffing to meet production build schedules with quality and safety.
• Maintain communication with Plant Management for efficient daily operations.
• Provide support to production team and address areas of concern/problem.
• Ensure all work in process is properly tagged per procedures and instructions.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Maintain FIFO release order unless overridden by customer needs.
• Oversee handling of nonconforming products and assist in root-cause analysis.
• Adhere to IATF16949 and OSHA requirements and ensure safety on the floor.
• Coordinate with Environmental programs and ensure compliance with related policies.
• Be visible on the floor and provide training and supervision as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
