Job summary

Oetiker Group is seeking a Production Team Leader to monitor daily production, schedule tasks, and lead shift activities in a automotive manufacturing setting. You will manage downtime, lead meetings, and drive continuous improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of supervisory experience, familiarity with IATF 16949, and strong communication, safety, and quality mindset. This on-site role with standard hours supports a team-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• College diploma, preferably in a relevant field.
• 2-4 years supervisory experience in automotive/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production using L2L and manage downtime.
• Schedule daily production and allocate resources.
• Lead department employee meetings and participate in Gemba walks.
• Provide timely feedback to improve performance and create a positive work environment.
• Provide feedback and coaching recommendations for personnel.
• Complete Team Leader, 5S and verification audits.
• Collect and reconcile work orders.
• Monitor preventive maintenance activities to ensure completion.
• Follow and enforce Health, Safety, Environmental, Legal, Quality policies.
• Lead and implement OPS improvements.
