Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an Arbitration Administrator in Buffalo, NY. You will report to the Arbitration Manager and resolve differences between buyers and sellers arising from auction representations.

You will research issues, recommend final decisions on post-auction matters, and ensure adherence to company policies and state/federal laws by team members. You will handle inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner, maintain records, and coordinate logistics for third-party inspections while

Qualifications

• Minimum - High School or GED.
• Preferred - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree.
• 3 years Customer service and/or claims roles.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience preferred.
• Automotive auction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and assists others in doing so.

Responsibilities

• Resolve differences between buyer and seller arising from representations on auction.
• Research issues and recommend final decisions regarding post-auction issues.
• Ensure company policies and laws are followed by staff under supervision.
• Provide prompt, efficient, courteous attention for all contacts and transactions.
• Advise management of serious complaints and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate post-auction process and unwinding of deals and price negotiations.
