Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Kentucky is seeking a Plant General Manager to lead a complex automotive manufacturing operation, accountable for production, quality, safety, and financial performance. You will drive Lean initiatives and customer-facing excellence.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership, proven P&L ownership, and a track record of delivering sustainable improvements in cost, delivery, quality, and profitability within automotive manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in engineering or related field.
Proven experience leading a complex manufacturing plant or major operation.
Track record of delivering improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety, productivity, and profitability.
Working knowledge of automotive quality and launch methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans).
Strong Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement background.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for plant operations including production, quality, engineering, maintenance, safety, delivery, and cost.
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives and customer requirements.
Ensure quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction targets are met.
Maintain accountability for ISO standards and customer-specific quality systems.
Drive a culture of quality, customer focus, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Lead Lean, Six Sigma, problem-solving, standard work, and waste reduction initiatives.
Analyze manufacturing processes and performance metrics to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and profitability.
Set and monitor KPIs and plant financials (annual operating plan, budget, forecasts).
Oversee plant P&L responsibilities, cost control, labor efficiency, inventory, and productivity.
Lead new product and program launches with successful execution from launch through production.
Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and a safe work environment.
