Genuine-Parts-Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our NAPA retail store in Minnesota. You will support the Store Manager across all store functions, lead daily sales activities, and coach a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

This role emphasizes operational excellence, inventory health, scheduling alignment, and safety, with overtime and keyholder duties as needed. It provides a developmental path toward Store Manager and requires strong leadership in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a retail or service environment.
• Strong customer care and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with inventory health, ordering, receiving, and stock control.
• Willingness to learn automotive aftermarket knowledge and products.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced and complex setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager on daily operations, sales, inventory health, scheduling, and team performance.
• Lead opening/closing routines, cash reconciliation, and end-of-day reporting; ensure store standards.
• Coach and develop team members; support talent advancement and performance management.
• Drive customer-facing sales across in-store, phone, and external dealer channels; build lasting relationships.
• Monitor core store metrics and implement improvements for safety, loss prevention, and efficiency.
