Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a customer-focused associate to greet customers, assist with parts selection, and deliver friendly service both in-store and over the phone. You will quote prices, recommend related items, and process transactions while maintaining secure cash handling and accuracy.

The role includes stocking, planogram updates, and occasional vehicle service tasks where allowed by law. The position supports a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store simultaneously.
• Spanish language skills are highly desired.
• Familiar with automotive parts and ASE certification can be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail customers promptly and assist with merchandise selection.
• Answer store phone calls per policy, look up parts, quote prices and upsell items.
• Maintain cash drawer, process cash/credit transactions, and handle exchanges/returns per policy.
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, stocking and shelf maintenance.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, scan codes) where allowed by law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
