Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide exceptional service to retail and installer customers. You will assist with merchandise selection, answer calls, look up parts, quote prices, and promote related items while ensuring accurate cash handling and smooth store operations.

Responsibilities include assisting professional customers, managing returns, and supporting stock and planogram updates. Bilingual ability (Spanish) is highly desired, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desirable: Familiar with automotive parts, Weatherly Index System, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Support managers and installer service specialists with professional customers.
• Answer store phone calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and promote related items.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Handle exchanges/returns and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, and stock-related tasks.
• Prepare returns for distribution center and assist with inventory counts.
• Perform in-store services and tests as trained.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if required.
