Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level customer service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with focus on assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate stock and plansograms.

The role involves daily interactions with customers, stock maintenance, and occasional in-store services.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged; Spanish desired.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Support managers and installer service staff for professional customers as needed.
• Operate cash drawer: accept cash/credit, make change, process payments.
• Process exchanges/returns for credit according to policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with stock updates, planograms, freight receipt, and shelf stocking.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries) where allowed by law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
