Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Indiana–Lawrence is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide a high level of service to retail and installer customers, and to support store management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will greet customers, help them select merchandise, and assist professional customers. Duties include cash handling, returns, and addressing complaints, with regular stocking and planogram updates. ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and maintain the cash drawer securely.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per company policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Perform store operations such as stocking shelves, planogram updates, and daily tasks.
• Assist with in-store services and occasional deliveries as business needs dictate.
