Job summary

NAPA Westminster is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and coach a team in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

You will partner with the Store Manager to ensure inventory accuracy, efficient scheduling, and outstanding customer care, while developing the next generation of store leaders through hands-on coaching and performance feedback.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive after-market or related industry experience preferred.
• Proven leadership experience with coaching and development.
• Customer care focus and relationship building.
• Ability to manage fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Familiarity with cataloging/inventory systems.
• Ase Certifications a plus.
• NAPA Know How certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager on daily operations, sales, inventory health, labor planning.
• Oversee opening and closing routines, cash reconciliation, and end-of-day reporting.
• Actively sell and build relationships with in-store and external customers.
• Coach team members, monitor performance, and ensure continuity.
• Drive safety, asset protection, and process improvements.
• Monitor store metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
