Job summary

NAPA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environment in Virginia. You will support the Store Manager across operations, sales, and inventory while maintaining direct customer-facing responsibilities.

Lead a team, oversee opening/closing, and drive customer satisfaction. You will mentor staff, monitor metrics, and ensure safety and asset protection while supporting development for future store leadership roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive after-market service or willingness to learn.
• Leadership experience and customer-care focus.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager on operations, sales, inventory, and scheduling.
• Lead and coach team to meet performance and safety standards.
• Drive customer relationships across retail and wholesale channels.
• Execute opening/closing routines and daily financial tasks.
• Monitor sales, inventory accuracy, and labor efficiency; address gaps.
• Support talent development and succession planning.
