Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in the United States is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert part knowledge and support for DIY customers in-store and by phone. This full-time role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and strong communication to assist across sales, inventory, and service tasks.

Responsibilities include handling DIY services, achieving sales goals, and maintaining high store standards. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience
• Strong customer service and sales abilities
• Proficient in reading safety rules, parts catalogs, and instructions
• Able to operate store inventory and POS systems
• Able to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries
• Achieve personal and store sales goals
• Manage DIY services (battery installation, wiper installs)
• Maintain store appearance and safety standards
• Perform key holder duties (opening/closing, task assignment)
• Assist in inventory processes, cycle counts, and back stock
• Provide DIY services and source parts as needed
