Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support the DIY business with expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.

The role focuses on advanced identification, troubleshooting, and sourcing from multiple channels to assist customers in-store and by phone. The position requires 3–5 years of parts experience, strong English communication, and the ability to perform battery installations and other DIY services while maintaining high service and store standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must read and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Able to locate and stock parts and operate inventory systems.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder duties including safety, opening/closing tasks.
• Assist in inventory, stock, and cycle counts as needed.
