Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Installer Service Specialist to support professional customers at the installer counter. You will oversee daily activities of delivery staff, ensuring accurate orders and timely deliveries, while maintaining vehicles and coordinating with sales teams.

Strong mechanical experience and excellent communication are required; ASE certification and Spanish language skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong background in mechanics.
• Above average communication skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of automotive repairs.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Professionally serve installers and professional customers at the installer counter.
• Take customer orders by phone and online, invoice orders, and direct parts to delivery; coordinate delivery staff for timely deliveries.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained per company standards; complete vehicle inspections daily.
• Assist Sales Specialists and Territory Managers to deliver superior service to professional customers.
• Verify product/merchandise and ensure warranties/cores are billed before customers leave.
• Credit and process returns, including cores and warranty returns, and manage credit timing.
• Assist on front and retail counters as needed; help with backroom duties and stock activities.
• Process customer labor claims quickly and efficiently; perform other duties as assigned.
