Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Installer Service Specialist to service professional customers at the store's installer counter. You will oversee daily activity of the delivery staff and ensure accurate, timely order deliveries, while building sales with installers and other professionals.

Required: strong mechanics background and solid communication skills; ASE certification preferred and Spanish language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong background in mechanics.
• Above average communication skills.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales relationships with installers/professional customers.
• Take orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, and direct delivery staff.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards.
• Enter daily mileages into fleet management devices and ensure inspections are completed.
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers.
• Verify all product/merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave.
• Ensure core and warranty returns are picked up and credited promptly.
• Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and proper labeling.
• Assist on front and retail counters as needed; help with backroom duties as needed.
• Process customer labor claims quickly and efficiently.
