Job summary

Singer Vehicle Design in Carson, CA is hiring a Production Processing Assistant to support the lifecycle of automotive parts, from donor stage to finished goods. The role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration within a small, high-precision team.

You will disassemble and reassemble parts, coordinate external processing, and maintain part flow to support on-time production. Onsite hours are Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of related work experience with automotive parts or in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding and use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus points for technical automotive training or Porsche familiarity.
• The candidate should be an effective communicator and team player who can multitask and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and assemble parts for outside processing.
• Coordinate and assist outside processing part movement and staging under direction from the Lead.
• Work with the disassembly vendor to ensure timely donor parts flow.
• Create and update work instructions for preparing parts for outside processing.
• Analyze and test parts for quality conformity per Engineering SOP.
• Manage inventory levels within MRP and handle inventory moves.
