Job summary

Singer Vehicle Design is seeking a Production Supervisor, Assembly to lead a dedicated team in Torrance, CA. This onsite role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery, with responsibilities spanning training, performance management, and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to optimize processes and production flow, ensure accurate daily reporting, and foster a professional, high-performance work environment on the shop

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Five or more years of related work experience in automotive, composite, or assembly environments.
Bonus points for three or more years of management experience in production.

Responsibilities

Ensure all team members are trained in operational procedures and that the team works efficiently to meet goals.
Monitor performance and behavior to ensure adherence to policies, processes, and procedures.
Use metrics and recommend improvements to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Provide technical expertise for complex issues to ensure efficient production flow.
Accurately report end-of-day production status for each vehicle build and associated parts.
Maintain a safe, organized workplace and support 5S activities.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve processes.
