Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Billings, MT is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support dispatching, vehicle care, and sales activities within the parts department. You will coordinate commercial deliveries, perform customer visits, and assist in upselling parts to improve transaction value.

You will also handle inventory knowledge, maintenance of store equipment, and support on weekends as business demands require, while ensuring safety procedures and MVR compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (MVR).
• Prior automotive parts experience preferred.
• Experience with dispatching or logistics coordination is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched for delivery.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and general vehicle readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints.
• Perform customer deliveries as needed, following driver procedures.
• Lead organization and maintenance in and around parts department/backroom, staging, and delivery areas.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Lead commercial program when CPP is not present (weekends as needed).
