Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to service pro customers in Summit, IL. You will pick, stage and safely deliver parts, collect payments and assist with upselling while maintaining store presentation and stock accuracy.

Primary duties include daily credit account collection, building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and promoting current sales and loyalty programs. Strong communication and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
Pick up returns and cores.
Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
Daily collection of credit accounts.
Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned.
Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
