Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver who will pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and manage daily credit collections. You will build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

Prior automotive parts experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
