Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver auto parts to pro customers and assist with upselling and promotions. You will maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and support daily credit account collections within a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires basic math, safety awareness, and the ability to engage customers to identify needs and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
