Rydell Chevrolet in Waterloo, IA is seeking a motivated Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson to join our Parts Department. This full-time role focuses on serving retail, wholesale and internal service customers and offers base pay with commission.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts knowledge or experience preferred.
• Previous parts counter, auto parts store, dealership, retail sales, automotive service, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail, wholesale, and internal customers with automotive parts sales.
• Identify and locate the correct OEM and aftermarket automotive parts.
• Research part numbers, pricing, availability, and vehicle applications.
• Provide parts quotes and process customer orders.
• Handle phone, in-person, and internal parts requests.
• Process invoices, special orders, returns, and parts transactions.
• Work with Service Advisors and Automotive Technicians to locate needed parts.
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain parts inventory.
• Follow up with customers on orders and special-order parts.
• Build strong customer relationships and repeat business.
• Maintain accurate inventory and parts records.
