Rydell Chevrolet in Waterloo, IA is seeking an Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson to support our Parts Department. The role involves assisting retail, wholesale, and internal customers with parts sales, locating OEM and aftermarket parts, and coordinating with Service staff to fulfill needs.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts knowledge or experience preferred.
• Experience in parts counter, auto parts store, dealership, retail sales, automotive service, or customer service is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with computers, catalogs, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail, wholesale, and internal customers with automotive parts sales.
• Identify and locate OEM and aftermarket parts.
• Research part numbers, pricing, availability, and vehicle applications.
• Provide parts quotes and process customer orders.
• Handle phone, in-person, and internal parts requests.
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain parts inventory.
• Build strong customer relationships and repeat business.
• Maintain accurate inventory and parts records.
