Haldeman Subaru is seeking a Parts Counter person to assist retail and wholesale customers, service technicians, and accounts with locating, ordering, and purchasing automotive parts. The role requires excellent customer service, deep product knowledge, and multitasking in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The position involves identifying parts via catalogs and VINs, processing orders and invoices, and coordinating with the Service Department to ensure timely deliveries and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years in automotive parts sales, inventory control, or dealership service environment.
• Strong working knowledge of automotive systems, components, and part numbering systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and listening skills with a customer-first attitude.
• High attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, and reach/bend to stock shelves.
• High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Greet retail customers, wholesale accounts, and service technicians promptly to assist with parts inquiries and orders.
• Accurately identify required parts using catalogs, VINs, and diagrams; source hard-to-find parts when needed.
• Process sales orders, create invoices, handle cash and credit transactions, and ensure accurate billing.
• Stock incoming parts, maintain bin locations, conduct cycle counts, and assist with physical inventories.
• Collaborate with Service Department mechanics to supply correct parts and minimize customer wait times.
