Balise Subaru of Hadley is looking for a Parts Counter Associate to support mechanics and customers with parts and supplies. The role involves tracking parts, handling billing through service and collision, and ensuring accurate record keeping.

Ideal candidates have automotive parts experience, strong customer service, and organizational skills. Tekion knowledge is a plus, and some familiarity with vehicle products is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive Parts Field.
• Customer service and organization skills.
• Familiarity with the vehicle products is preferred, but not required.
• Tekion Knowledge and Experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for dealership.
• Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through service department and collision repair.
• Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer.
• Complete appropriate record keeping; including tagging all parts with customer name and job number for easy reference.
• Refer to parts manual (hard copy & electronic format) to identify exactly the right parts for the make, model, and year of vehicles being serviced.
• Providing highest quality of customer service
• Answer phone calls providing price quotes and other information
• Notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or materials that need immediate attention
• Notify Service Advisor and/or Customer when specialty parts have been received
• Notify the Body Shops when all parts have been arrived and when they will be delivered
• Assist in putting all order away in a timely manner
• Follow up on backordered parts
• Other duties assigned by the Parts Manager
