Job summary

Haldeman Auto Group is seeking a Parts Counter person to assist customers, technicians, and wholesale accounts by locating, ordering, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. This fast-paced dealership role requires strong product knowledge and excellent service.

You will identify parts using catalogs and VINs, process orders and invoices, manage inventory, and work with the Service Department to keep vehicles on the road. A High school diploma and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 1–2 years in automotive parts sales or dealership service.
• Strong product knowledge of automotive systems and parts numbering.
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail and wholesale customers with locating, ordering, and purchasing parts.
• Identify parts using catalogs, VINs, and diagrams; source hard-to-find items.
• Process sales orders, invoices, and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Stock parts, manage bin locations, and participate in cycle counts.
• Collaborate with Service Department to supply correct parts quickly.
