Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively with both customers and co-workers, often managing multiple interactions at once.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers.
• Sell parts over the counter to retail and wholesale customers.
• Deliver consistent support to other dealership departments, equal to external customer service levels.
• Handle telephone inquiries from retail and wholesale accounts, offering accurate price quotes and product information.
• Upsell by suggesting related parts, seasonal products, and promotions.
• Identify and source correct parts efficiently using catalogs and electronic systems.
• Apply technical information from manuals, bulletins, and publications to support parts identification and sales.
• Notify the Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager of stock shortages or critical discrepancies.
• Conduct proactive phone solicitations to assign wholesale accounts to drive business.
• Maintain and update parts and accessories displays.
• Initiate credit applications for new accounts as needed.
• Pick, pack, and fulfill parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate delivery or shipment of parts based on customer needs.
• Prepare and accurately cost out parts invoices, properly identifying eligible wholesale customers.
• Maintain parts stock in an organized and clean condition.
• Assist with inventory counts and manage parts returns under the obsolescence protection program.
• Support physical rearrangement of inventory or stock layout as required.
• Assist walk-in customers with selecting parts, suggesting companion parts, and presenting available specials.
• Notify the Service Department when ordered parts have arrived.
• Ensure a valid Repair Order is presented before issuing parts to Technicians.
• Maintain clean, organized bins, aisles, storage areas, and customer-facing counters.
• Report any departmental maintenance or cleanliness issues to the Parts Manager.
• Stay current on new products and updates.
• Actively participate in required training programs.
