Asbury Automotive Group in Noblesville, IN seeks an Automotive Parts Counter Associate to sell parts over the counter, by phone, and through the shop. Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills in a fast-paced retail/shop setting.
• Ability to multi-task while handling parts requests, pricing, and paperwork.
• Proficiency with computer systems and phone usage is essential, CDK is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting required parts over the counter, shop, or phone.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements and full product line exposure.
• Provide price quotes and information for incoming calls and counter inquiries.
• Verify parts against body shop estimates and ensure pricing aligns with the estimate when applicable.
• Pull and fill orders from stock, notify when parts are out of stock, and re-stock daily.
• Tag parts with customer names and job numbers; follow special ordering policies and aging.
• Process back-ordered items and returns to vendors; ensure items are billed on service repair orders.
• Receive payments or obtain credit authorization; assist outside sales reps with orders.
• Maintain prompt paperwork flow and professional image; pass pre-employment screening.
