Description

The Vehicle Painter position is responsible for completing final finish surface work on show and event vehicles used by customers of the Special Vehicles operation. The position requires following established practices and procedures to ensure quality performance that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Essential Job Functions

1. Perform wet sand and rub
2. Perform body repairs
3. Perform full vehicle repaints and correct production paint flaws
4. All work must meet show quality standards

Qualifications

• High degree of paint skill and expertise required
• Prior show vehicle work strongly preferred
• Must have own tools

Additional Skills

• Good communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task while ensuring follow-up and completion of tasks
• Some computer experience is a plus
