Job summary

Honda of Serramonte in Colma, CA is part of Sonic Automotive and is seeking a motivated Clerical Admin to support the dealership’s business office. This role involves inventory and accounting tasks, including processing Bills of Lading, dealer trades, wholesale and street purchases, and maintaining accurate records.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of automotive dealership experience, are computer-literate with accurate 10-key and typing skills, and can prioritize work.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of automotive business office dealership experience with accounting experience.
• Computer literate; accurate with 10 key pad and typing.
• Self-motivated; able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule.
• Basic working knowledge of administrative tasks/computer systems.
• Good interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory and accounting operations by processing new inventory Bills of Lading (BOLs), dealer trades, wholesale purchases, and street purchases.
• Manage documentation and records to ensure accurate tracking and organization of vehicle inventories, aiding in efficient deal processing and DMV compliance.
• Conduct physical inventory audits to maintain precise inventory counts and track inventory movements across locations.
• Collaborate with staff accountants to streamline workflows, minimize backlog, and support high-volume accounting and clerical needs.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation, supporting seamless operational functions for inventory and staff accounting.
