Job Description
The Automotive Mechanic/Technician position offers a pay range of $17.00 - $38.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications, with additional incentives. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, starting with comprehensive training to develop your skills. Your role involves performing repairs, securing customer approval, conducting inspections, and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

1. Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and other repairs within your qualifications.
2. Secure customer approval for work after diagnosis and maintain a clean work environment.
3. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs.
4. Test drive vehicles and use shop resources responsibly.
5. Collaborate and lead within the team to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, lift 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in at least one area (A1-A8)
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License
• Technical school certificate or degree
