Job Description
Pay: $17.00 - $38.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications. This role includes additional compensation and incentives. As an Automotive Technician, you'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, starting with comprehensive training to develop your skills and career at Monro.

Responsibilities

1. Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
2. Obtain guest approval for work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work area.
3. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs.
4. Test drive vehicles and use shop equipment safely for inventory pickup.
5. Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, lift 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset
• Maintain Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in at least one area (A1-A8)
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License
• Technical school certificate/degree
