Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

The pay range is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, guaranteed, based on experience, with flat rates between $26 and $38. Starting day one, you'll undergo comprehensive technician training to prepare you for your role and career advancement. Your main responsibilities include performing repairs and maintenance, diagnosing vehicle issues, and ensuring safe, reliable transportation for guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Obtain guest approval for work after diagnosis and maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive vehicles and safely operate shop vehicles to pick up inventory.
• Collaborate and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• 2+ years automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in tool purchase program
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, lift 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset
• Maintain applicable Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license

Preferred:

• ASE certification (A1-A8)
• Automotive technical degree/certificate
• 609 certification in R134a and 1234YF
