Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: $17.00 - $38 per hour. Compensation varies based on experience and certifications, with potential for additional incentives.

This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. Starting from day one, you'll undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for your responsibilities, which include performing repairs, ensuring safety, and delivering excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and other automotive repairs within your qualification scope.
  2. Obtain guest approval for repairs based on diagnosis and maintain a clean work area.
  3. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
  4. Test drive vehicles and safely operate shop trucks for inventory pickup.
  5. Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Own a basic set of automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program.
  • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Guest and team-focused mindset.
  • Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8.
  • Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
  • Technical school certificate or degree in automotive technology.
