Job summary

Crash Champions in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced automotive mechanic to inspect and repair vehicles at our rapidly expanding MSO network. You will diagnose damage, test components, and perform brake, engine, and suspension work to restore safety and performance.

Commitment to quality, ASE certification preferred, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license are required. Compensation reflects market rates with a posted salary range from $50,000 to $148,950 per year.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Examines vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Test drives vehicles and uses diagnostic devices.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brake systems and alignments.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' specifications.
• Repair and/or replace engine components, braking and steering systems, and airbags.

Responsibilities

A mechanic is responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles. These professionals oversee mechanical inspections, assemble mechanical components, and perform repairs.

Core Responsibilities:

• Examines vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Test drive vehicles, test components and systems using equipment such as computerized diagnostic devices.
• May repair, reline, replace, and adjust brake systems and perform vehicle alignments.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
• Repair and/or replace engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective repair.
