Job summary

Momentive’s Automotive Electronics team seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to drive adoption of advanced materials with OEMs and Tier suppliers. You will serve as a technical advisor, delivering presentations, demonstrations, and assessments of our solutions for EV batteries, power electronics, ADAS, and connectivity.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, ADE, and R&D to address customer requirements, qualify opportunities, and manage relationships across global accounts.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of technical sales, application engineering, or related experience in specialty materials or automotive industries.
• Experience with automotive OEMs and Tier suppliers.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities where Momentive’s materials provide value in automotive applications.
• Engage with automotive OEMs, Tier suppliers, electronic manufacturers, and channel partners.
• Promote materials through technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Utilize DFV opportunity screening to evaluate prospects.
• Meet growth objectives by creating new applications and expanding relationships.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, ADE, and R&D to relay customer needs.
• Support forecasting, CRM updates, and opportunity reviews.
