Job summary

Napleton Nissan in Sanford, FL seeks an Automotive Master Technician for a fast-paced shop. You will diagnose and repair a range of systems, explain findings clearly to customers, and continuously update your technical skills through training.

The role offers a top pay range with incentives and a sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include maintaining an organized service bay, meeting dealer standards, and contributing to customer loyalty through trusted service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician
• Master Level Certification required
• 18+ years old and eligible to drive

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake/hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C).
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non‑mechanical staff and customers.
• Update skills through formal training to stay current with automotive tech.
• Keep management informed of repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

Located atVolkswagen of Sanford, theMaster Technicianisresponsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician required.
• Must have proven track record
• Master Level Certification
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
